Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) is used for twenty years to offer monetary prizes for memorizers of Holy Quran who are participating in the International Hashemite competition for memorization and recital of Holy Quran which is organized annually by Ministry of endowment and Islamic affairs . However, Bank’s participation represented by offering prizes to winners of twentieth international Hashemite competition for males and the seventh international Hashemite competition for females during a celebration that was held on Tuesday, 14th of August, 2012 under the sponsorship of HRH Prince Ali bin Naief , delegate of His Majesty king Abdulla the second in the hall of king Abdulla bin al Hussein mosque.
On this occasion , Mr. Musa Shihadeh , Vice Chairman , General Manager of JIB expressed how much proud he is of having the honor to be a pioneer of supporting memorizers of Holy Quran participating in International Hashemite Competition for memorizing Holy Quran since it was established and for twenty years. These winners are being honored each year during Ramadan month to be a lead for their fellows in memorizing Holy Quran. He asserts as well JIB’s role which exceeds increasing financial returns to support memorizers of Holy Quran and Prophet’s Sunna..
Shihadeh indicated that JIB’s contribution in prizes of International Hashemite competition since its establishment in 1993up till now amounted to about JD 334 thousand including JD 40 thousand prizes distributed current year, in addition to the Bank’s participation in different competitions organized by various authorities inside the kingdom through offering monetary and in kind prizes for memorizers of Holy Quran.
