JIB receives a shield in appreciation of its support for the disabled

Prince Raad Bin Zaid, chief chamberlain, has honored JIB with a shield in appreciation of its support for the disabled.

This event took place during the celebration of the fourth mass wedding of physically challenged people, which the Special Society for the Disabled organized on Monday 12 September, 2005.

This honor reflects the Bank’s implementation of the glorious Islamic principles with regard to cooperation and reciprocal respect amongst the Islamic community. The Bank offered for the third year in a row support for the mass wedding of the disabled in the form of a 700-JD cash present as a donation to the seven bridegrooms.

JIB also offered the sum of 2000 JDs as a donation to the Disabled Students Fund during 2004.

This support is a continuation of the Bank’s role in bearing its social and cultural responsibilities, which aren’t only restricted to establishing Islamic values in banking dealings but they also involve positive interaction with the social and cultural Islam-based activities and events.

JIB also offers Qardh Al-Hassan for necessary social purposes such as education, treatment and marriage; which reached JDs 5.6 million in 2004 from which 14613 citizens benefited.
