JIB contributes to the International Hashemite Competition for memorizing
the Holy Qur’an


Under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the ministry of Awqaf and religious affairs held a ceremony for distributing the prizes to the winners in the 13 th International Hashemite Competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an in the mosque of the late Abd-Rabbuh Kayed Al-Assaf.


JIB has always participated in presenting prizes to the winners in this competition since its beginnings. These prizes amounted to about JD (20,150) this year.


Regarding these cash prizes presented by JIB; Mr. Musa Shihadeh, vice-chairman and general manager, said that this complies with the Bank’s mission which aims at developing and encouraging those who memorize the Holy Qur’an.


He added that JIB continued participating in honoring the winners who memorize the Holy Qur’an through competitions organized by various sectors. The Bank’s contribution to the International Hashemite Competition since its beginning has amounted to about JD (94,000).
