In line with His Majesty's instructions to encourage the Holy Quran learners, and implementing its mission, JIB participated in the ceremony held by the Ministry of Awqaf and Holy Places Affairs under the royal patronage. H.E. Mr. Salem Al-Turk patronized the ceremony on behalf of His Majesty and delivered the prizes to the winners of the 15th International Hashemite Competition for Quran Memorization.

It is worth mentioning that JIB presented prizes amounting JD 30,000 during 2007. The amount included the prizes presented to the second competition that was held under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania.

H.E. Mr. Shihadeh, Vice-Chairman and General Manager, said that the Bank always supported such events that are related to the Holy Quran learners. The Bank's prizes for those competitions reached about JD 148,000 since their date of launching.
