Amman –Jordan Islamic Bank announced the promotion of Mr. Hassan Atout to the position of Deputy General Manager / Chief Executive Officer effective 1-9-2026, in a phase aimed at continuing development, enhancing efficiency, innovation, digital transformation and improving customer experience.
This promotion comes in recognition of Mr. Hassan Atout’s career, experience and contributions in supporting the bank’s work and reflects the bank’s approach to empowering talent and providing opportunities for development and career advancement.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said that the promotion of Mr. Hassan Atout to the position of Deputy CEO comes within the framework of strengthening the executive management system and reflects our confidence in his competence and experience, and confirms that investing in and empowering competencies is a fundamental pillar for continuing to implement the bank’s strategy and enhancing its leadership in the field of Islamic banking, its competitiveness, and raising the level of services provided to customers towards more growth, sustainability, and excellence.
For his part, Mr. Hassan Atout affirmed his pride in the trust placed in him, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer, stressing that this assignment represents a responsibility and trust to continue building on the achievements made and to serve the bank and support its strategy.
Mr. Hassan Atout has over 23 years of banking experience in the banking sector, during which he held a number of leadership positions in Jordanian banking institutions, which contributed to the accumulation of his experience in the fields of banking leadership and financial services, until he joined the family of Jordan Islamic Bank, where he held the position of Head of the Retail Sector, and took over the supervision of a wide range of banking activities, including the management and development of the branch network, Retail Finance, and serving major clients, in addition to product development, marketing and sales, digital business and operations, call center, and managing account operations, In addition to chairing several executive committees, he is also a member of the boards of directors of companies operating in Islamic finance and payment systems services.
