In order to promote social solidarity and affirm support for youth, Jordan Islamic Bank participated in the forty-one-mass wedding ceremony and the first of the current year 2026 by presenting a gift “naqoot” to twenty grooms and brides during the ceremony organized by Al-Afaf Charitable Association at Diwan Abna'a Ma'an - Tariq on 2026/5/8
Jordan Islamic Bank has been participating in mass weddings since 1995 as part of the bank’s commitment to its social responsibilities and sustainability, and to implementing one of its strategic priorities in achieving sustainable development, promoting the spirit of community solidarity and stability, strengthening positive values, and alleviating the economic burdens on youth to empower and support them.
The bank, in cooperation with Al-Afaf Charitable Association, also contributes to helping young people with marriage costs by providing Al Qard Al Hasan and financing those who wish to purchase furniture and various necessities, in addition to providing gifts to the couples participating in the group weddings organized by the Association annually. The ceremony reflected an atmosphere of joy, cooperation, and solidarity among the various segments of society.
For his part, Dr. Munther Zaitoun, Vice President of Al-Afaf Charitable Association, praised in his speech during the ceremony the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting the couples participating in the Society’s annual group weddings by providing cash gifts and Al Qard Al Hasan, to facilitate and support youth getting married.
