Based on the keenness of Jordan Islamic Bank to achieve the vision of economic modernization and enhance its economic and developmental role, the bank continuously seeks to contribute to and be present in activities that support the national economy. It provided support for the dialogue session of the Jordan Strategy Forum, hosted by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, and attended by the economic team of ministers, members of the forum, and a number of economists and investors, on 10/11/2024, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, praised the efforts of the Jordan Strategy Forum in shedding light on the most important developments and challenges facing the national economy and enhancing dialogue and partnership between decision-makers and specialists from government agencies and various economic sectors with expertise to reach solutions and proposals that contribute to strengthening economic performance and preparing in advance for any challenges in light of various crises, through holding a series of dialogue sessions in which Jordan Islamic Bank seeks to be present due to their role in enhancing its role in assuming its sustainable economic and social responsibilities and in supporting the progress of the national economy.
During the opening session, Mr. Karim Kawar, Vice Chairman of the Administrative Board of Jordan Strategy Forum, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank for its continued sponsorship of the Forum’s activities, including this dialogue session.
During the session, the partnership and integration with the private sector to achieve the vision of economic modernization, the performance of the financial market, Islamic financing models, bank financing mechanisms for projects being implemented, the law on partnership between the public and private sectors, the new city, energy, food security, pharmaceutical manufacturing, export support, and others were reviewed.
