Jordan Islamic Bank sponsored the honoring ceremony for retirees of the International Relief Agency / Jordan Region "UNRWA" who retired during the years (2020-2025) under the patronage of the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Jordan, Mr. Olaf Becker, and organized by Field Staff Union in Jordan / International Relief Agency in Jordan, at the Trio Palace Hotel on 25/2/ 2025.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “In confirmation of our bank’s commitment to its sustainable social responsibilities towards various civil society institutions, including UNRWA employees in Jordan, the support for this ceremony came to express thanks and appreciation for the efforts of retired employees in serving UNRWA, students and refugees, and to emphasize our bank’s interest in being part of any initiative that benefits members of the local community.”

Dr. Hussein Said praised the sustainable relationship with UNRWA employees and retirees in Jordan, which is constantly strengthened through providing support and agreements to provide Islamic banking and financing services at preferential profit rates.
In his speech during the ceremony, Mr. Riyad Zighan, Chairman of Field Staff Union in Jordan / UNRWA, thanked Jordan Islamic Bank and presented an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s support for the ceremony. It was received by Mr. Ahmed Abdel Kareem, Manager of Corporate Communications Unit at the bank.
