Jordan Islamic Bank contributed to sponsoring and participating in the 14th International Educational Conference for Private Schools for the year 2025 entitled (The Educational Process Towards a Better Future) under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, in line with the vision of economic modernization of the education sector in Jordan and the integration of work between the various economic and educational sectors, which organized by the Association of Private School Owners and the Katateeb Association for Education and Educational Culture and participants from Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Oman, Libya and Turkey with about 300 participants from private schools in Jordan and specialists, researchers, companies and institutions specialized in providing all services to the education sector, which was held at the Royal Amman Hotel on 22-23/2/2025.
During the opening ceremony of the conference, His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah presented an honorary shield to Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, in appreciation of the bank’s sponsorship of the conference and his participation in presenting a paper on the topic of investment in education in light of developments and clarifying the importance of investing in private education, ensuring its continuity, the criteria for its evaluation, the challenges it faces, and the opportunities and priorities for investment in it.
Mr. Munther Al-Sourani, Head of the Private Schools Association, and Mr. Rasmi Al-Mallah, Head of the Katateeb Association for Education and Educational Culture, member of the conference’s preparatory committee, also expressed their thanks and appreciation to the bank for sponsoring the conference.
Dr. Hussein Said stated that the Bank’s participation in this conference is an affirmation of its role in enhancing and supporting the academic process and scientific research and the efforts made by all relevant parties from the public and private sectors to improve the performance of the educational process and its direct impact on social and economic development. He stressed the Bank’s constant endeavor to be present in various activities that enhance its ability to assume its sustainable social responsibilities in the educational and research fields, which aim to serve the local community and the national economy.
The conference addressed several topics and workshops on sustainable development of educational and administrative leadership in light of the digital revolution and investment in education in light of developments and professional development (sustainable) for teachers, supervisory creativity in distinguished performance in teaching and advanced digital education, implementations of education quality standards and development planning, and other related topics.
