Jordan Islamic Bank continued to participate with the students of the Academy for Blind in the annual celebration of Independence Day, honoring the Academy’s graduates from the second year of secondary school (Tawjihi), the fourteenth cohort, and Providing cash gifts to graduate students, in a ceremony held under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Rajwa bint Ali and the Chairman of the Public Service and Administration Authority, Mr. Sameh Al-Nasser, and the ceremony included artistic and theatrical performances and national songs performed by the academy’s students, in the Civil Service Bureau theater on 20/5/2024.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, pointed out the bank’s keenness to celebrate annually with blind academy students’ in national events that develop a sense of loyalty, belonging and pride in national achievements and their graduation from secondary school and their transition to university or vocational study, stressing the bank’s continued responsibility for its social responsibilities towards various segments of society, including the blind, and contributing to supporting and aiding them, through its presence within the various local activities supporting them, including this annual ceremony, which the bank has been the only one to support since 1995, as it is considered one of the first supporters of the academy for Blind .
For her part, Dr. Najah Falah, Director of the Academy for Blind, thanked and appreciated the Bank’s continued annual support for the Academy’s graduates and assisting them to serving their country.
