Jordan Islamic Bank continues its annual contribution of offering a “Naqoot” gift to grooms participating in group weddings organized by Al-Afaf Charitable Society by participating in the celebration of twenty brides and grooms at the fortieth group wedding ceremony, and the third this year2025, which presents a wonderful image of the solidarity and mutual support of the Jordanian community in helping young people with the costs of marriage. The ceremony was held at Diwan Abna'a Ma'an - Tariq on 12 /12/2025.
The bank's participation in the mass wedding ceremony stems from one of the strategic objectives of Jordan Islamic Bank to spread a culture of sustainability and social responsibility among the various stakeholders, which is in line with the United Nations' sustainable development goals of eradicating poverty, combating inequality, and ensuring prosperity for a more just and sustainable future for current and future generations. In addition to strengthening its role in serving the Jordanian community and spreading a spirit of solidarity and cooperation, the bank facilitates marriage for young people and helps them cope with the burdens of life by providing “Naqoot” and providing Al Qard Al Hasan in cooperation with the association, as well as providing murabaha financing for the purchase of furniture and other necessities.
In his speech during the ceremony, Dr. Hamid Al-Takrouri, member of the administrative board of the Al-Afaf Charitable Association, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank for its fruitful and continuous cooperation in providing providing Al Qard Al Hasan and “Naqoot” to grooms participating in group weddings, and for contributing to facilitating the means of marriage.
