Jordan Islamic Bank provided golden sponsorship for the 16th Jordanian Pharmaceutical Conference entitled “Pharmacy in the Bicentenary: A Future Vision,” which was organized by Jordan Pharmacists Association and opened by Dr. Youssef Al-Qusous, representing His Excellency Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez, the president of the Senate, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, received an honorary shield from the conference sponsor, in appreciation from the Jordan Pharmacists Association to the bank for sponsoring the conference and for its continued support of the association’s activities, and its path aimed at raising the status of the pharmacy profession in Jordan, during the opening ceremony of the conference, in the presence and wide participation of international and Arab pharmacists and experts from Jordan and abroad, in addition to many local and international pharmaceutical companies and pharmaceutical institutions, on 14/9/2023 and lasted for three days.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said said, “In confirmation of our bank’s responsibility for its social responsibilities and sustainability in the health field and with the various sectors emanating from it, we are strengthening our sustainable partnership with Jordan Pharmacists Association by supporting its various activities aimed at serving the pharmacy profession and distinguishing it locally, and globally,” praising the Association ‘s efforts to hold this conference, which It emphasizes Jordan's distinguished position at the Arab and international levels in the health field and the pharmacy sector, which constitutes a success story and its positive impact on moving the wheel of the Jordanian economy and its development.
For his part, Dr. Muhammad Sharif Ababneh, Head of the Pharmacists and Vice President of the Arab Pharmacists Union, praised the good relationship between the Association and Jordan Islamic Bank and its cooperation and support for the Association‘s activities. Emphasizing the Association‘s keenness to improve the performance of the pharmacy profession in Jordan at all levels and to formulate its vision and strategy for the future and its reflection on the health system in light of the continuous technological development the world is witnessing that intersects with all specialties in the world, through holding this conference and the various activities of the Association throughout the year.
