Based on serving the health sector and enhancing its role in society, Jordan Islamic Bank participated with Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council in celebrating International Nurses and Midwives Day. In addition to announcing the winners of the Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Award 2026 by providing diamond sponsorship for the association’s celebration, coinciding with the Kingdom’s celebrations of Independence Day, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al-Hussein’s, representative and advisor, Her Excellency Dr. Ruwaida Al-Maayta, in appreciation of the great efforts made by those working in the nursing and midwifery profession to support the health system and the national economy and serve the people of society, and to highlight stories of success, excellence and creativity in the nursing sector, and to honor those with qualitative initiatives and professional and research achievements, on 23/5/2026 at the Mövenpick Hotel.
The bank’s participation in this celebration confirms its constant commitment to being present in various activities that are consistent with the bank’s commitment to its sustainable social and economic responsibilities through strengthening sustainable cooperation between the bank and local community institutions, including Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council. The bank also set up a special booth within the celebration event to introduce the banking and financing services and products that the bank provides. The booth witnessed a large turnout from the attendees, and their inquiries about the financing features that the bank provides to members of the syndicate at preferential and competitive rates were answered.
At the end of the ceremony, Her Excellency Dr. Ruwaida Al-Maayta and Mr. Muhammad Al-Rawabdeh presented an honorary shield to Jordan Islamic Bank in appreciation of its sponsorship of the conference, which was received by Mr. Ahmad Abd Al-Kareem, Manager of Corporate Communications at the bank.
