Based on the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting culture, the bank provided the golden sponsorship for the 23rd Amman International Book Fair under the slogan "Jerusalem, the Capital of Palestine" and organized by Union of Jordanian Publishers in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and the Greater Amman Municipality, which was held under the Royal Patronage and inaugurated by the Minister of Culture, His Excellency Mr. Mustafa Rawashdeh, with the participation of about 400 local, Arab and international publishing houses and a number of Jordanian and Arab writers and intellectuals, at the Jordan International Exhibition Center - Mecca Mall, which will be held during the period from 10-19/10/ 2024.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “Our bank’s participation in the Amman International Book Fair is an affirmation of the bank’s strategy to assume its sustainable social responsibilities in serving the local community in the cultural field and enhancing permanent and ongoing cooperation between the public and private sectors to support the cultural process, as the Amman International Book Fair is considered one of the most important cultural events held in Jordan and provides an opportunity to spread culture and knowledge and encourage reading and includes purposeful cultural and literary events.” He stressed the bank’s keenness to be present in any activity that enhances the bank’s role in supporting the cultural process in Jordan.
