In order to enhance the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in serving the local community, the bank implemented a blood donation campaign for the benefit of King Hussein Cancer Center, with the participation of employees of the Head Office and Shmeisani branch at various administrative levels, in addition to the bank’s clients, at the Head Office building on 14 Aug 2023.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "The launch of this humanitarian and community initiative comes to spread the culture of blood donation and a continuation of our bank's approach to shouldering its social responsibilities in the field of health and supporting the people of the local community, and to encourage the employees of our bank to participate in voluntary and social activities that represent the principle of social solidarity, including blood donation.
Dr. Hussein Said added that the bank has been implementing annual blood donation campaigns in cooperation with the blood bank, and this campaign comes in cooperation with King Hussein Cancer Center and for the benefit of cancer patients, in order to strengthen the sustainable relationship with the center, which took multiple aspects, including participation in the Goal for Life initiative and Al-Joud Fund on behalf of Jordan Islamic Bank for the treatment of cancer patients, etc., stressing the bank's keenness to continue providing support and participation in various activities aimed at achieving sustainable development and serving the community.
