For the fourth year consecutively, Jordan Islamic Bank continued to participate in the Ministry of Education’s annual celebration to honor distinguished male and female teachers from various education directorates throughout the Kingdom by presenting them with cash gifts, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, which marks on October 5th of each year, under the patronage of the Prime Minister’s representative, His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, at the Royal Cultural Center.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “Our bank continues to celebrate Teacher’s Day in appreciation of the distinguished role of the teacher and his noble message in raising generations and the success of the educational process and its advancement, which enhances the role of our bank in assuming its sustainable social responsibilities in the educational field through its participation with the Ministry of Education in its various activities and enhancing the roles of various partners in the educational process, including this annual celebration of distinguished teachers and their appreciation, in addition to providing Islamic banking services and financing to teachers for the purposes of owning homes or cars or purchasing furniture or other purposes at preferential prices and easy conditions in accordance with Sharia controls.”
At the end of the ceremony, and in honor of the supporting parties, His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah presented an honorary shield to Jordan Islamic Bank, which was received by Mr. Ahmed Abd Al-Kareem, manager of Corporate Communications at the Bank.
