In order to achieve the vision of economic modernization and the advancement of Jordanian industry, Jordan Islamic Bank participated in supporting and sponsoring the Jordanian Industry Day celebration, which was inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein 's representative, Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, and organized by Amman Chamber of Industry, with the participation of various national industrial companies and related institutions. In appreciation of Jordan Islamic Bank’s sponsorship and support of the celebration, His Excellency Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh presented an honorary shield to Dr. Muhammad Fahmy Al-Jabari - Head of the Support Services Sector at Jordan Islamic Bank, during the celebration held on 15/8/2024 at Four Seasons Hotel, where the most important industrial achievements made during the past year were highlighted, and Cornerstone was laid for the exhibition grounds and business center launched by Amman Chamber of Industry, in addition to honoring the 100 largest industrial companies that employ Jordanian workers.
Dr. Muhammad Fahmy Al-Jabari expressed his pride in the bank’s participation in this celebration for the second year consecutively, confirming the bank’s assumption of its sustainable social responsibilities in supporting Jordanian industry and the national economy, and supporting the local industrial product and supporting it to reach the best international specifications to benefit and advance the wheel of local economic development, as the bank continuously seeks to provide support and presence in the various activities of Amman Chamber of Industry, in addition to providing various financing for industrial projects that are compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia.
For his part, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan Islamic Bank for its support of the Chamber’s activities, which enhances the partnership between the Chamber and the Bank.
