In confirmation of the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in supporting scientific and professional activities to serve the national economy and the local community, the bank continues to cooperate with various civil society institutions, including strengthening the partnership with Jordan Engineers Association, as the bank provided sponsorship for the 10th Jordanian International Mechanical Engineering Conference under the patronage of the Prime Minister’s representative, Eng. Bassam Fadel Al-Sarhan, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, and organized by Jordan Engineers Association / Mechanical Engineering Division, with the attendance of Eng. Ahmad Samara Al-Zoubi, President of Jordan Engineers Association, and the participation of Engineers, academics and researchers in the field of mechanical engineering, during the period 8-9/10/2024 at the Royal Hotel, Amman.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, stressed the bank’s keenness to be present at these conferences, which reflect the bank’s commitment to its sustainable social responsibilities, praising the efforts of Jordan Engineers Association to hold its annual conferences in various engineering specializations to develop the profession.
During the opening ceremony of the conference, the representative of Jordan Islamic Bank was presented with an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s sponsorship of the conference. Eng. Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, President of Jordan Engineers Association, praised the bank’s support for the conference and its effective contribution to the success and achievement of its goals, which seek to provide an opportunity for those concerned to meet, dialogue, and exchange knowledge and experiences in various fields of mechanical and industrial engineering, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence applications. The conference included a presentation of scientific research and the holding of specialized workshops and lectures.
