Jordan Islamic Bank participated in sponsoring the Economic and Development Forum for Diplomatic Missions in Jordan under the slogan “Investing for the Future” under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Ya’rub Al-Qudah, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, on behalf of the Prime Minister, and organized by Jordanian Businessmen Association and the Ministries of Investment and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, with the participation of ministers and representatives of diplomatic missions in Jordan, ambassadors of countries, businessmen and officials from the public and private sectors.
During the opening ceremony of the forum, His Excellency Dr. Ya’rub Al-Qudah and Mr. Ayman Al-Alawneh, President of Jordanian Businessmen Association, presented an honorary shield to Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, in appreciation of the bank’s sponsorship of the forum, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel – Amman on 8/4/2026.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “The bank’s participation in sponsoring the forum confirms the bank’s constant endeavor to be present in various economic activities that enhance the bank’s commitment to its social responsibilities, achieve the vision of economic modernization, and support the national and developmental economy. This forum also contributes to translating diplomatic relations into economic partnerships, which will positively impact economic cooperation between countries and enhance the strategic dimensions to show Jordan as a destination for international economic cooperation.”
The participants in the forum reviewed several topics, including the pillars of the economic modernization vision system towards achieving sustainable economic development, prospects for strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors in supporting major investment projects, economic diplomacy and its role in strengthening the economy and diplomatic partnerships, and success stories of Jordanian and foreign investors in the Kingdom were also reviewed.
