In compliance with the royal directives for economic modernization and enhancing Jordan's medical standing, and based on Jordan Islamic Bank's assumption of its social responsibilities and sustainability in the health and scientific fields, the bank sponsored the first Jordanian and second Arab conference on Orofacial Pain & Dysfunction of the Jordan Dental Association and Jordanian Commission of Orofacial Pain & Dysfunction, under the patronage of the representative of Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al-Hussein, His Excellency Dr. Yassin Al-Husban, Chairman of the Health Committee in the Senate, and with the attendance of about two hundred participants from dentists and specialists in maxillofacial pain in terms of diagnosis and treatment from Jordan and several Arab and foreign countries, during the period from 11-12/9/ 2025 at the Signia - Hilton Amman.
Jordan Islamic Bank's sponsorship of the conference reinforces its presence in any local event or activity that aims to enhance the performance of the health sector and scientific research. It also serves the joint cooperation between various sectors of the public and private community, which positively reflects on supporting and backing the national economy. The bank also seeks to support the medical and health sector by assisting its workers by providing banking and financing facilities to Jordanian dentists and the Jordanian health sector in general at preferential rates that contribute to supporting their efforts in this field and improving its performance.
During the first day of the conference, His Excellency Dr. Yassin Al-Hasban and Professor Dr. Aya Al-Asmar, President of Jordanian Dental Association, presented an honorary shield to Dr. Musa Mubarak, Head of the Investment Sector at the Jordan Islamic Bank, in appreciation of the bank's sponsorship of the conference.
The bank participated with a special pavilion at the exhibition as part of the conference's activities to introduce the services and products of Jordan Islamic Bank, which are compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia.
