Jordan Islamic Bank sponsored the regular morning business meeting held with H.E. Eng. Yarub Qudah, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply. The meeting was part of a series of meetings organized by the Jordanian Businessmen Association, the meeting addressed the topic: "The Royal Visit to China: New Opportunities for Economic and Investment Cooperation and the Role of the Private Sector in Light of the Free Trade Agreement with the United States." This event aligned with the implementation of the economic vision aimed at diversifying economic partnerships and boosting foreign direct investment flows into the Kingdom. The meeting, held on 14/9/2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, was attended by a number of economists, Jordanian Businessmen, and investors.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, stated: "Reaffirming our bank's role in supporting activities and events that serve the national economy, we provide support and sponsorship for the regular meetings organized by Jordanian Businessmen Association. These events have a tangible impact, enabling decision-makers, business leaders, and investors to stay informed about key developments that serve the national interest, implement the Economic Modernization Vision, attract investment, and create new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration."
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Engineer Yarab Al-Qudah presented an honorary shield to Dr. Hussein Said in appreciation of the bank's sponsorship of this meeting.
For his part, Mr. Ayman Al-Alawneh, Chairman of Jordanian Businessmen Association, commended the Bank’s sponsorship of the meeting. He expressed his pride in the existing partnership and cooperation with Jordan Islamic Bank, as well as the Bank’s continued support for the Association’s events and activities that reflects the Bank’s commitment to strengthening the role of the private sector and contributing to the advancement of the national economy.
