Jordan Islamic Bank participated in providing support for the Second International Scientific Research Conference entitled "The Role of Scientific Research in Building Knowledge Societies" organized by Jerash University and under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh, in the presence of Dr. Firas Al-Faour, Governor of Jerash, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalayleh, President of Jerash University, and Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Muhammad Al-Hawamdeh, with the participation of more than one hundred researchers and academics from inside and outside Jordan who addressed the topics of building societies based on the economy, information and communications technology, education, higher education, administration, and others, during the period 27-29/8/2024.
Regarding the bank’s sponsorship of the conference, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “The bank’s support for this conference is an enhancement of its presence in various activities that highlight its social responsibilities in the educational and research fields, through providing support and participation with many academic and cultural entities that are in line with the bank’s general orientations, in addition to strengthening the sustainable relationship between our bank and Jerash University and supporting its activities that serve the academic process and scientific research.”
For his part, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Khalayleh praised the existing cooperative relations between the university and the bank, which are strengthened through the bank’s continuous contributions to support the activities of Jerash University, including this conference.
His Excellency Dr. Abdul Raouf Al Rawabdeh also presented an honorary shield to Mr. Hani Bani Hani, manager of Jordan Islamic Bank / Jerash Branch, in appreciation of the bank’s support for the conference during the opening ceremony.
