JIB supports the 9th Jordan International Civil Engineering Conference

In continuation of achieving the strategic goals of Jordan Islamic Bank in social responsibility and sustainability by participating in initiatives that aim to develop the community and the local economy through its sustainable partnership with civil society institutions and professional unions, the bank continued its contribution to supporting the 9th Jordan International Civil Engineering Conference organized by Jordan Engineers Association / Civil Engineering Division under the patronage of the representative of the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Dr. Jamal Qteishat, Secretary General of the Ministry, and with the wide participation of local and international engineers and specialists in the field of civil engineering during the period 12-13/11/ 2024 at the Royal Hotel.

 Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “The continued presence of our bank in the conferences organized by Jordan Engineers Association stems from the bank’s assumption of its social, economic and sustainable development responsibilities by providing support and sponsorship for the association’s activities and various conferences aimed at serving national development and its impact on the lives of the local community,” praising the joint cooperation between the bank and the association for the benefit of all. 

During the opening ceremony of the conference, Eng. Fawzi Masoud, Deputy Head of Jordan Engineers Association, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the bank’s sponsorship of the conference. The representative of Jordan Islamic Bank was also presented with an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s sponsorship. 

The conference included a set of topics related to geotechnical engineering, innovative materials in sustainable construction, construction risk management, environmental and biological engineering, etc.
