In line with Jordan Islamic Bank's strategic objectives for social responsibility and sustainability in the field of sustainable health, spreading awareness of health concepts among community members, and supporting initiatives that contribute to building a healthier and more interactive society, the bank sponsored the final of the football tournament for a number of medical and healthcare personnel at the King Hussein Cancer Center. The tournament was organized by the center's social committee and took place at 6Yards Stadium on Al-Madina Al-Munawwara Street on 23/10/2025.
This support from the bank comes as a reinforcement of the collaborative relationship between the bank and the center, which has taken various forms, from providing support and assistance to the center's various activities, including this match, which aims to encourage physical activity and emphasize the importance of sports as a healthy lifestyle, in addition to strengthening the bonds of cooperation and teamwork among the employees of the King Hussein Cancer Center, thus contributing to combining the spirit of sports with the humanitarian mission carried out by all employees at the center.
At the end of the match, Dr. Asem Mansour, General Manager of the King Hussein Cancer Center, presented an honorary shield to Mr. Ahmad Abdul Kareem, Manager of Corporate Communications at the bank, in appreciation of Jordan Islamic Bank's sponsorship of the tournament. Amid an atmosphere of excitement and positive interaction, the winning team and participants were honored and gifts were distributed to them in appreciation of their efforts and positive participation.
