Jordan Islamic Bank has further solidified its position in the Jordanian banking sector by receiving the "Best Islamic Bank in Jordan" award for the second time in 2026. The accolade was presented at the MENA Banking Excellence Awards, organized by Middle East Business Intelligence (MEBI), during a ceremony held in Dubai on 3/11/ 2026.
This recognition highlights the bank's excellence in providing Islamic banking services, as well as its continuous efforts to develop products and enhance the customer experience to keep pace with banking sector advancements and meet the needs of various customer segments.
During the first half of this year, the bank also received the "Best Islamic Retail Bank in Jordan for 2026" award from the same organization, reflecting its esteemed performance and standing in Islamic banking.
Commenting on this achievement, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, emphasized that winning both the Best Islamic Bank in Jordan and the Best Islamic Retail Bank in Jordan awards for 2026 reflects customer trust. He added that it underscores the appreciation for the bank's institutional approach and strategy, which is built on banking excellence, realizing its vision to cement its leadership in Islamic banking, and delivering innovative, advanced banking services.
