World Union of Arab Bankers announced that Jordan Islamic Bank won the award for "Leadership and Excellence in Promoting Financial Inclusion through Islamic Finance in Jordan 2025". The announcement was made during the Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards ceremony of The Banking Executive magazine, published by the Union. The ceremony was held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and was attended by banking leaders, Arab and international figures, regional institutions, and representatives of regulatory and supervisory bodies in the financial and banking sector.
Jordan Islamic Bank’s honoring with this award is a culmination of the bank’s work and achievements in the field of financial inclusion and the provision and innovation of banking products and services that are compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia, meeting the needs of various segments of customers, including individuals and companies, in addition to expanding the provision of digital banking services that keep pace with the latest technological developments and are in line with the bank’s strategy (2025-2029), which aims to be a leader in Islamic banking, based on trust and innovation, and in line with the vision of economic modernization of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the national strategies and initiatives launched by the Central Bank of Jordan.
It's worth noting that Jordan Islamic Bank has been awarded of the Arab Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards, launched by World Union of Arab Bankers since 2015. The awards aim to highlight the achievements of Arab banks and honor them with awards that set an example for outstanding performance.
