Based on the implementation of the bank’s strategy in the field of social responsibility and sustainability by involving its employees in volunteer and charitable work to serve the local community and the health sector, Jordan Islamic Bank, for the second year consecutively, organized a blood donation campaign for the benefit of the King Hussein Cancer Center, with broad participation from its employees of all job levels, in the Head Office of the Bank on 15/7/ 2024.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, praised the continued cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Center in organizing this campaign to be added to the blood donation campaigns organized by the bank during previous years, in line with the bank’s assumption of its social responsibilities and its humanitarian mission aimed at supporting and assisting the less fortunate and needy groups, especially patients and enhancing the values of giving among its employees by establishing a culture of volunteer work.
Dr. Hussein Said stressed the bank’s keenness to implement more activities that support the bank’s direction of establishing sustainable partnerships with various national institutions that aim to serve the people of the local community, including the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, which we cherish the cooperative relationship with them at various levels.
The campaign, which was supervised by the staff of the King Hussein Cancer Center, witnessed a large turnout from the bank’s employees and customers.
