Amman, Jordan, 09/3/2025: Military Credit Fund and Jordan Islamic Bank signed a memorandum of understanding today, Sunday, aiming to provide preferential profit rates for financing that is compatible with the provisions of Islamic Sharia for military retirees in the Jordanian Armed Forces and security services within the Comrades in Arms Program.
The agreement, signed by General Manager of Military Credit Fund, Yazid Al-Khalidi, and CEO of Jordan Islamic Bank, Dr. Hussein Said, aims to provide a group of financing products and services in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia, with easy terms, preferential profit rates and flexible repayment periods.
General Manager of Military Credit Fund, Yazid Al-Khalidi, said, “We at the Fund are committed to our role in the responsibility of investing in all opportunities that serve our active and retired comrades-in-arms, through forming partnerships that will ease the financial burdens on this group, and in the belief in partnership between the public and private sectors. He stressed that the Comrades-in-Arms Program, which is supervised by His Highness the Crown Prince, stems from the Hashemite leadership’s keenness to provide all that is best for military retirees to meet their aspirations and secure their needs. He also praised the role of Jordan Islamic Bank for its support for this initiative within the framework of sustainable partnership that serves the aspirations and needs of our comrades-in-arms.”
For his part, Dr. Hussein Said expressed his pride in the continuation of the strategic partnership with Military Credit Fund, which is consistent with the implementation of the royal directives to strengthen the partnership between various sectors to serve comrades in arms. This partnership has been strengthened over the past four years, making Jordan Islamic Bank one of the first Jordanian banks to contribute to supporting comrades in arms and meeting their financing needs, and enhancing the bank’s role in assuming its sustainable social responsibilities towards various members of society.
Dr. Hussein Said invited military retirees who wish to obtain any financing products to visit any of the bank’s 111 branches and offices spread throughout the Kingdom, in addition to providing the bank with communication channels around the clock to respond to any inquiry through call center (065680001) or IVR service, or the bank’s website or Islami Messenger.
