Affirming its commitment to social responsibility and the principle of social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, and aiming to leave a positive economic and social impact towards achieving sustainable development, the bank continued its partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali by providing food support to the most vulnerable families, especially during Ramadan. This was done through the volunteering of a number of bank employees who distributed food parcels provided by the bank to families benefiting from Tkiyet Um Ali's programs in Amman, specifically through Jabal Al-Ashrafiya Charitable Society.
The volunteering of the bank employees comes as part of the project to distribute basic food supplies to meet the needs of needy families during Ramadan, within the framework of the Sustainable Food Support Program. and practical implementation of the bank's various activities carried out during the holy month, in line with the bank’s comprehensive strategy to promote a culture of sustainability and social responsibility by adopting programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and encouraging employees to participate in social activities and volunteer work, to work as a team, and to leave a positive, lasting impact that is reflected socially and environmentally.
It is worth mentioning that during the holy month of Ramadan, the bank participated in many initiatives and diverse activities by providing donations and support to many official national institutions, associations, ,charitable and voluntary bodies within Jordan, supporting group Iftars and charitable gatherings, in addition to sponsoring various educational and awareness programs directed at different segments of society, which contribute to serving several sectors, including health, combating poverty, protecting the environment, education, supporting women and the less fortunate.
