Proceeding from the role of Jordan Islamic Bank in serving the community and assuming its social responsibility in the health field and towards children, the bank participated Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council in the second Diabetes Children's Camp, in the celebration of the "Together We Defeat Diabetes" camp, which was inaugurated on behalf of HRH Princess Mona Al-Hussein, Dr. Yassin Al-Husban, Head of the Health Committee in the Senate at Al-Sindian Resort, on August 12, and lasted for four days.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said, Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, "Our bank's contribution to supporting children with diabetes came in support of the national efforts to spread health awareness in the field of diabetes control and to raise awareness about how to prevent infection, especially among children, presenting an example of cooperation between our bank and civil society institutions by providing support and assistance to the local community, appreciating the efforts of the Nurses Council in strengthening the role of health cadres through this targeted community initiative.
For his part, Mr. Khaled Rababa’a, Head of Jordan Nurses Council, praised the Bank’s cooperation with the Syndicate in the success of the second diabetes camp, expressing his pride in the sustainable participatory relationship that brings together Jordan Islamic Bank and the Syndicate for the service of the people of society and the interest of both parties.
Dr. Yassin Al-Hasban handed an honorary shield to the representative of Jordan Islamic Bank, Mr. Ahmed Abdul-Kareem, Manager of Public Relations, in appreciation of the Bank's sponsorship of the camp, which included 26 children with diabetes and included various educational, awareness and entertainment programs in a manner that ensures the delivery of the health, social and psychological message to the participating children and helping their families to deal with their injury and how to live with this disease and provide them with psychological guidance to prevent its complications and identify other diseases resulting from it, with the participation of a group of doctors, nurses, a specialist in diabetes education, nutrition, and behavioral and psychological care
